[AW] Evening Snacks

Head tilted slightly to the right as she focused like that of a fox trying to find prey. Her body was poised and ready to pounce, her tail angled slightly and bright blue orbs watched the snow for what seemed like ever before finally, she rose up on slender yet strong legs, and then angled her body downward quickly. The front portion of her body disappearing within the deep snow. Took only a moment for her to reappear, a mole within her jaws.  With a quick snap, it's life was over. Sitting down, she placed it on the ground and then looked around before lifting a paw and licking it. "That's the tamest hunt I've seen from you in quite a long time." she heard and looked up to see her companion, Faramond fly over her before circling back and landing on her head. She rolled her eyes saying "I have no idea what you mean." Standing up again as he adjusted himself on her head, she picked up her measly snack and turned around walking back towards the lake. "I think it's because of a certain someone." he replied and she paused snorting at his words. Ridiculous! Well...partially anyhow.  Getting back to the lakeside she sat down, flames appearing at her paws to melt the snow away and get the ground warmed up. Laying down, she sat her snack aside looking over the lake carefully.  "isias speaking," | "familiar speaking"

[Lumos]

Lumos “Cause I'm living...living in the darkness” Lumos was cautious, despite his guardian’s reassurance that no one in the coven would harm him, the boy couldn’t help it, even now as he stood on the edge of the tree line he looked and listened with ears perked atop his skull and eyes darting this way and that. It was pointless really, the monster he searched for was one of shadows….it would not be out in the open like this. This logic should have eased his mind; relaxed his muscles, but it did not. The pale pup stood poised, one paw lifted to lead him forward but it froze in mid air as another wolf came forward.    Body hunched in a pouncing position before moving forward almost….lazily… before reappearing with a mole in her jaws.  The youth grinned, watching as she killed the rodent quickly, her familiar and her having some sort of conversation as it landed on her head. Lumos watched as they moved to the shore, flames and steam appearing as she melted the snow around them revealing soil beneath. She was a fox affinity! Like Laxton! Tail wagged behind him as he moved forward, a bit more relaxed now. As he got closer, his jovial stride slowed, offering a soft huff to alert her to his presence if the crunch of snow hadn’t given him away. “Uhh….Hi….” He greeted, a slight smile on lips, his ears slanted atop his head in a submissive way. He didn’t mean any harm and as hungry as he was, he had no intention of attempting of taking her snack.  "speaking,"

The woman's gaze was slow to look over the lake. Somewhat freezing over in some spots but still accessible to drink. Flicking her tail briefly, she looked up to the sky, clouds had moved in once again with the promise of maybe more snow, Despite winter not having set in just yet, then again this was the north so snow was a constant thing here. Her breathing was calm as she let her mind roam over things. Mostly, thinking of whether to stay here in the coven or go home. But, in a sense this was her new home. A certain Ermine had somewhat convinced her that this winter wonderland could be her home as well.  It wasn't a bad idea either, she had gotten used to the freezing temperatures here. And it was even said by someone that she was considered family. A small smile drifted across her face. Faramond simply sat there on her head, his small body taking in the warmth before he started crawling down towards the ground where it was much warmer. His large eyes-catching movement and then he spoke. "Isias we have company."  Her ears rotated at hearing her familiar speak and she blinked shaking her head slightly, her previous thoughts disappearing from her conscious for now. Head moved to look in the direction as she spot the small pup. Blinking, she was confused. What was he doing out here? She looked him over briefly to see if he was hurt, or anything but she found nothing to be alarmed about. It brought her some relief as she began to speak, her tone softer than what she usually used when speaking with others. "Hello, I believe I haven't gotten the pleasure of meeting you yet." She waved her tail slightly, beckoning for him to come closer.  "isias speaking," | "familiar speaking"
