“If you never try how could you know?”

The day was cool and the mist off the ocean was making it even better for Winnie. She was so afraid to leave the ocean but she knew that at some point she would need to seek out her own kind. Her heart was getting lonely and with each passing day since that event she felt alone. It had never been so cold and painful before now. This curling and clawing pain that sapped her energy and echoed with every beat of her heart. A scent blew down from the bluffs above and a strong and sweet scent that gave her nose a tickle. Instantly she cheered up and decided she'd go make herself feel better. No use swimming around in the ocean with a broken heart.

Quickly she swam up to the closest beach and began to look for a way up the steep cliff side. Her ears flicking back and forward in search for any unnatural sound. She felt safe but she still couldn't find a way up from here. Winnie turned her head back to the ocean, a longing but determined expression flickering on her face. "I will return.." She mused out as if it could hear her. Her paws darted into the thick of the brush before her and up into the flatter lands. It was there that she noticed an easy access rock to the rock step above her and with a wiggle and a leap she was up on the rock in no time.

It was a long trek up the sloping cliffs to the peak. Being so far from the ocean's edge gave her some chills about going any further but she wanted to see for herself the flowers that grew up there. Her paws barely touched the ground as she trotted along, she easily found a trail that went straight to those flower fields. Ahead of the path seemed to weave the right and in the middle lay a drop between two rocks. It almost looked as if the dirt path had crumbled through the cracks in the rock's face and into the ocean. Winnie went up the edge and gingerly peeked over it to see what was there. Her toes almost hovering over the edge just to get a good look as to what was down there.

Aromatics of sea salt and botanicals tickled the senses; the fragrance interlaced the warm spring breeze as it crept across lush and kaleidoscopic fields of florets. A middays lull interjected only by a disturbance in the atmosphere. Obsidian lashes flitted, revealing sleepy cinders as a foreign perfume aroused vagabond from his slumber. Thew quivered at taught withers as athletic limbs extended, toes stretching and digging into dampened soil; heathen son rising from earthen bassinet. Languidly hellion would roll his shoulders, shaking debris from his silken garments.

Singular audit slipped forth upon the curvature of capitulum, catching the resonance of another nearby. In the distance a figure moved, shifting up the cliffside as the tides below licked at the Stoney foundation of the Ridge. Well, well, well. Kissers twisted upwards, a fleeting grin flickering across his visage as stalwart pillars beneath ushered him forward. Footfall was of predatory design, soft, calculating and quieted by the surrounding hymn of ocean winds and muffled waves. He examined from afar briefly, a maiden of refreshing blues from the depths of those waters below them. Thick tail coiled behind his architecture as he moved, balancing him as lissom toes grappled at the land beneath him. He approached as closely as he could before being detected, ears twisted forth as baritone thrummed within rounded breast, crooning in husky notes “I reckon ye’ shouldn’t be standin’ so close to the edge, pretty miss.”

“If you never try how could you know?”

Winnie's lavender orbs pick up the rolling waves below and bit of excitement rolled over her body like a wave over the sand. If she fell would she live and be able to swim away? That would be awesome but probably unrealistic. Her ears swiveled on her head to point toward the distant roaring of the waves below, the look of it was so neat to her that she was completely oblivious to the male coming up on her. It wasn't until the voice reached her ears that she looked up. He was a handsome fellow covered in pales and a weird tail. She couldn't really place if she'd ever seen a tail like that before. Was he even of the same breed as her? Of course he was most of his other features were the same and he could talk to her. None of the fish ever talked to her.

Quickly she sat straight up and wobbled a bit. Her paws causing a few loose pebbles to bounce down the canyon at her toes. "Even if I do I can swim." She muttered.. Knowing full well the fall would be the worst of the damage she'd get, not the water itself. She was totally embarrassed by the stranger. His voice causing parts of her to perk up that she didn't even know she had. It reminded her of a cool ocean breeze across the ocean's surface. With little effort she wiggled her rear and hopped up onto the last ledge. Her eyes growing wide with all the colors and shapes of the flowers that make their home here. The sight of them all made the male almost pale in comparison to it. He was handsome yes but the flowers were beautiful.

With a happy pounce she rolled into the flowers and nuzzled their color petals. Some of them tickling her nose but she didn't care. This was the most beautiful place she'd seen on land yet and slowly she began to forget about the world around her. The aura of the flowers almost pulling at the idea of sleep. "Aren't they beautiful?" She mused out loud not really to the male but she remembered his presence and turned to look at him. Her body now covered in an array of colored petals and greenery of sorts. Something about him though made her feel like a puppy in the middle of a summer storm. The waves becoming warm and crashing about her playfully.. Same feeling, not same place.

Uttered quip pulled at tethered threads of attention, beckoning opaline ears to rise and sit erect upon his helm. Lips softly twitched, amusement cloying at his recessess as the water nymph ambled on her merry path. His presence had seemed phantasmal, her nautical gaze abstaining from admiring his delphian constitution. It piqued his curiosity and flustered the man - a  new game to play. Shoulders flexed as the wayfarer squared his stance, stalwart limbs languidly carrying him along the damsel’s footpath.

Daughter of the surf relished in the bounties of earthen marvel, throwing herself to the mercy of vivid fields of flowers. Devilish smirk teased at the edges of his lips as he spectated; the atmosphere shifted as salted air disheveled nacreous haircoat, nostrils quivering as feminine fragrance laced sylvan aromatics. "Aren't they beautiful?", audits swiveled in response to the stringing of her chords, titian eyes lingering upon dissaraged tresses of ultramarine embellished by variegated flowerets. Habitually he was known to scorn the unruly appearance of others and was himself fastidious, although he felt magnetized to the lackadaisical chaos.

He shifted closer, thew rippling through withers as he sojourned above the reclined maiden - the warmth of the Spring sunlight a sheen across his vestments. A smile flourished across his features, causing the arc of cheekbones to rise higher with exposed ivories; maned neck dipped to allow his face to be closer to hers. Ebony lashes flitted, lifting to concede the smoldering of his bittersweet eyes, like forsaken treasures compelled by alchemy. Swarthy lips parted from the smile that decorated, protracted tail draped in strands of silver moved then to softly brush petals from girlish cheek; his touch delivering a singular trifling, electrical impulse. "Quite beautiful." timbre shook virile breast, quaking through stalwart limbs, "Lass," In breathless hush he would disengage, pulling away coquettishly to leisurely meander the bountiful cliffside. He wondered now if he had her attention - or would she refuse to play? Felinal tail swayed behind him as he continued on, either way, there were always opportunities elsewhere.

“If you never try how could you know?”

When asking the question she hadn't noticed how close the male had gotten to her. His body seeming like a towering fortress compared to her flowing and lanky limbs. A bit of a blush creeped into her cheeks as she stared up into those off golden gaze. A fluttering feeling started to twist around in her gut and she didn't know about this feeling. She knew nothing of puppy love or real love.. Nothing about those testy feelings that come with meeting a handsome new stranger. So as she normally did she sunk into those feelings and followed their lead. She adored him from the moment she set eyes on him and his body language said the things she wanted to hear. He was awfully close now and parts of her started reacting that were odd but welcome at the same time. A flick of her tail gave away the things she was feeling.

It felt like moments were moving slow and yet fast all the same, his body getting closer and closer and then his face mere inches from her own. What was he planning.. A flicker of fear rose in her but it was pushed away along with the petals on her cheeks. A slow burn seeming to crawling from the points of contact of his tail. He seemed like a gentleman and when those two words left his lips and bright smile bursted from her face and a flutter her lashes followed the next word. She didn't know this game but she wanted to play. At least that's what it felt like.. A game. As he pulled away the smile seemed to dampen and she watched him with worried eyes. Had she made a wrong move? Was she supposed to follow? She wanted to.

Quickly she got up from the flower bed she'd destroyed and darted up to him. Her nose barely brushing the edge of his shoulder as she passed him. She was in a straight run now, wondering how fast this male was and if he would chase her. Her ears strained backward to listen to any sound that might come from the male. He probably knew by now that she was new to this kind of play but she didn't care, nor knew what she was leading them to. Only leaving him with an array of giggles to try and guess the next task.

Opalescent audits swiveled upon his helm, a singular ear sliding effortlessly into a recline to capture the approaching rhythm of footfall. Furor cloyed at his internal mechanisms as the electrical current that flowed through his architecture quivered with anticipation. A subtle touch, a caress of silken iridescent fibers upon his shoulder and damsel was gone. Lips twitched, twisting upwards into wily simper as sinew vellicated beneath his flesh as bittersweet eyes watched her figure flee through seas of flowers. Finally, someone to play with.

Stalwart limbs shuddered beneath his frame and with a flick of felinal tail he careened into pursuit. Nostrils trembled with intake of oxygen and deflation of hefty lungs confined within rolling breast, robust paws thudding against the dampened soil as deepened strides lessened the distance betwixt them. Aromatics of ocean tides and endless fields of florets assaulted his senses, interlaced with the faint fragrance of the woman just beyond his reach - primordial beast a design of endurance and strength, although nimble, in comparison to most was not as quick as many others. Footfall reverberated beneath his hulking architecture, his approach akin to the faint roll of a storm in the distance as toes dug into the earth.

Opposite to lithe water nymph would kaleidoscopic hellion fall into her brisk stride, loping along beside her as they bustled along the scenic ridge. As beast raced along side the woman, obsidian lashes flicked to reveal the tangerine heat of his eyes, a smirk dancing at the edges of his features. Tail flicked outwards to brush against her hip - the electrical current that coursed through his very marrow delivering a soft yet teasingly warm shock. Quietly he settled within himself, concentrating as he felt the waves of energy around him and the breeze kiss at his arched cheeks; momentarily their paws floated above the ground they traipsed as he warped the fields around them. Together they raced upon the air - although it would not last long.

OOC:; Magnetism power invoked, allowing him to momentarily alter the electrical fields and air currents to help them "walk on air", but for only briefly. Watch your step!

“If you never try how could you know?”

She heard him long before his pelt came into the corner of her eye. Their size difference was now very apparent as he loped along side her with a smile she'd never seen before. She couldn't even place the feeling lurking behind his amber gaze. Did he feel the same way she did? Was this some form of love? Love was such a foreign concept to her right now and with all the bells and whistles going off in her head it was hard to pick out which one she should listen too. All those thoughts vanished as soon as the small but beautifully warm shock zapped through her pelvis and straight into the groin. Slowly she tucked her head down, embarrassed at the feelings he was awakening in her.

Before she could get another direct glance at him though the ground seemed to part with her paws and with her head already looking toward the grassy plains, a panic began to etch into her features. She turned to look at the male but only the look of pride and beauty touched his face. This was on purpose, must be his power. Her shoulders began to bristle up and bit but she continued to run, afraid that if she stopped the spell would end but that was not the case.

She was just about to relax in the air with him when a loud pop sound echoed in her ears. She looked toward the male for an answer but before she could even speak a sensation similar but must more painful echoed through her body. Then she felt no weight in her paws and the ground seemed to come crashing upwards toward her.. Yet she was falling from the height. She tried to catch herself but the shock through her body kept her legs from working. A yelp of help came from her lungs just as she hit the ground.

Her hip was the first to hit the ground and boy did it hurt. She looked herself over and found no blood.. But there was a round black patch of skin on her upper torso. The spot sat right about her collarbone and just below the jugular. She looked over at the beast and anger was the first thing that boiled up in her but it easily dissipated when she thought about the whole thing. He wouldn't have purposely done that? They were having fun and if he had he'd have fallen too. "Are you alright?" She coughed out, her vocals taking a rather nasty beating from the shock. It hurt so much to speak that she just decided not to after that her eyes trying hard not to brim with tears.

Delight and pride swelled in the breast of the beast, the maiden’s gaze upon his features but adding to the boastful egoism of his being. Prismatic ears twitched in that moment, the atmosphere echoing with a burst of magick that recoiled upon it’s master. Sinew quivered as he felt the electrical current return to his being, catching him off guard. Lips twisted in ire as the cold ocean air ripped through his silken vestments, the earth reaching upwards to snatch him from the graces of the heavens. Stalwart limbs reached outwards beneath him, toes digging into the dampened soil as he returned to the earth - he stumbled just so with the velocity, tumbling to the ground.

It was the resonation of a high-pitched yelp that divulged the location of the young maiden that had been by his side. "Are you alright?" Her inquisition came to him then, shoulders rolling as he rose from where he had fallen, shaking off debris of grasses and loam - a subtle rumble escaped him in annoyance with his appearance then. ”Ay Lass,” once more the vagabond would shake himself out, stretching as he languidly approached the woman. ”Apologies, are you alright?” the tangerine of his eyes brushed against the outline of her frame, analyzing her for wounds.

“If you never try how could you know?”

A snort of discontent seemed to escape her without her wishing it too. She was a bit jealous that he got out of it just fine and she didn't. Also the fur on her shoulder was no tainted with black soot. His question made a bit of her fur bristle but she tried to keep it all under control. "No I'm not. I got electrocuted and I fell from the sky." She mumbled and looked at the ground. Her feet had never once let the earth before and of course the first time she did she got hurt. She would most definitely stick to the swimming form now on. "I think I need to rest some now.." She mumbled with a bit more tiredness slipping into her voice.

She lifted herself slowly and shook out her now messing looking pelt. She found a patch of flowers a bit past the male and sat upon them. Her eyes wandering him for any wounds but she didn't see any. "Didn't you get zapped too?" She questioned before laying flat and tucking her paws under her chest. Another wave of bristle washing over her shoulders. He should have been zapped too.. That's just not fair.
