Save Atlahua !

HP gained: 0
HP needed: 100

May the dawn bring the sounds of struggle, waves clashing roughly against the banks of the beach carved from stone. His wails aroused the rains, billowing winds come from his screaming, and rain showers the land at the aid of his tears. Atlahua is awake, and he is injured, his limbs flail causing massive waves to coat the beach, destroying trees and turning over boulders, splitting the earth with his cries. You must save him, you must aid him in your power before the land is stripped to the sea at the expense of his hurricane.

Altahua has created a hurricane with his struggle! Your wolves cannot ignore this and the only way to stop it is by donating together 100hp! Each post your character is actively pouring their magick (using their spells) into the storm is worth +10 toward Atlahua's health pool and -10 from your characters! Survive the storm AND aid the god! Altahua may cry in your wolf's head for help, guide them on what to do.

Each round will consist of HP gained toward Atlahua and potential damage rolls from the storm. Time is not on your side, lingering about will only result in your character taking needless damage.

This thread is open to all! First round ends in one week! That's April 24th

He cried out, and the ocean churned.

Cold air whipped across the expanse of the beach, tides spewing up the brine of their depths - creating a oceanic deluge that lashed out against the vagabond of the shores. It seemed like insanity to proceed into such hazardous conditions, yet it was the summoning that reverberated through his very core that drove him to continue. A cry for help, lead him here. As the raging waves assaulted the Seaside he felt the pain of the darkened ocean, and sought to soothe the agony of the archaic beast that beckoned his soul.

Pallid ears flattened against the curve of war helm, as skull lowered to tuck chin into virile breast. Thick obsidian lashes flicked vigorously to shield his seafoam eyes from the battering of the storm as he continued across sullen landscape, nails scraping against wet stone. He had been taught, one should fear the water, because in its beauty it could give and it could take away. Lips quivered and lifted as teeth gritted, stomach clenching - his memories haunted him in that moment, a reminder of the crime he had committed in his youth. The cold nip of salt water dampened his sun-bleached vestments, pulling his attention back to the dangers of his journey.

Atlahua. The deity was familiar and dear, a warmth of childhood reminiscence that helped deter the chill of the sea that soddened him. Momentarily he wondered if it was the will of the god that he return to the essence of beginning - to the water he called home. Deeply he inhaled the salted atmosphere, steadying himself upon a misshapen slab of stone, toes curling around their slick, familiar edges. He felt the water being pulled towards him, almost steadying in its presence - and as he focused he cried out against the raging storm that stung at the angular edges of his cheeks. There was a subtle ache in the depths of his being, perhaps a regret of a sinful past that pushed him to repent; if being swallowed by the depths was his fate he would accept.

Yet a fire stoked his lungs, chest filling as broad swimmers shoulders steadied him against the torrent - this beach was his home and had been since as long as he could remember. He had to protect it and soothe the anguish of the tides. Magick swelled in the depths of his being, quivered in the marrow of his bones as the water around and beneath him shifted, reversing in its flows - he concentrated, breathing evenly as the oncoming tides shifted and seized in their actions, trembling as he pushed them back to fall upon themselves, swallowed and settled by the chaos of the depths.

Passive ability:; Absorption - allows him to attract water molecules and store water within his haircoat and skin. Helped increase his strength slightly in the current weather and location.

Water Manipulation:; Used his water manipulation to reverse the flow of some of the oncoming tides, causing them to fall upon themselves as if thrust back. Also an attempt to protect the shoreline

Something was wrong, the wind abruptly changed going from smooth and light to violent and angry. Even she, a master of the sky, was not prepared for the sudden shift and found herself being thrown off balance, wings yanked this way and that as she was flipped onto her side.
“Deja!”
She’d yell, feeling her familiar slip from her spot. The gold and lavender wolf would close her wings, tipping downward in a dangerously fast descent until she caught up with the falling monitor. Paws outstretched to give the lizard something to hold on to before curling against her chest protectively.

Grimacing, wings flared open, abruptly halting her descent to the now angry sea, the movement pulled at her muscles, she would be sore tomorrow for sure- but Auron had no idea of what was to come and just how sore she would end up being. Pink eyes ran over the shore and the island in the distance but she couldn’t tell what exactly it was that was causing such a mess. Auron continued to be yanked by the wind, pushing her down and then up and to the sides.
“Sorry Deja, I have to land….”
She’d call to her familiar, clinging tight to one of her scarred forelegs.

Auron turned towards the shore letting the wind carry her in its violent way closer to shore before she used her ability to manipulate the wind to allow a safe landing on three legs. The wind around her suddenly became calm, the rain no longer entering the bubble as it was swirled to the sides showing off the near perfect circle that surrounded her to allow her to land so smoothly. As soon as her paws touched the ground and wings folded against her side, the bubble was gone and she was left to the elements.

Another was there, trying to…protect the beach? Auron paused, allowing Deja to crawl back up to her resting spot on the back of her neck before she tried to lend her own magick to help…if only so it would be easier to get closer to the man. Eyes closed for a moment as she focused on what she needed to do before she gathered that energy and pushed it out towards the waves, hoping her own hurricane force winds would be enough to help push the water back and calm it a bit.

Auron is using Wind/Air manipulation to try and push the waves back into the ocean.

To be honest the male was somewhat sulking after his experience with the first wolf he'd seen in a while. Was everything so different then before? Did everyone forget about the beloved gods he so loved? Slowly his paws drew him up the beach. The waves seeming to draw closer and closer to him until it almost washed over him. His eyes darted toward the sky and into the ocean to see what was going on but another wave wave over took him. The water soaking through the melting layers of ice that now were floating out to the sea. Quickly he darted up forward and tried to take flight. His wings taking him up into the air with ease.

Adaeus being either crazy or just too curious for his own good, flew into the storm. He couldn't be sure but something tingle deep in his breast. A voice calling out to him, one he hadn't heard in years. It was the same cry he'd heard a week ago. Panic and dread seeped into his features for a moment but his wings beat harder against the wind and soon he spotted the two who had already arrived on the scene. He tried to call out to them but his wings became unsteady and his mass was tossed out of the sky.

He felt himself plummeting toward the ocean and in his panic he used his gift to create a spike of ice with a flat top to spiral right out of the ocean's surface. His body slammed into it but it was better then being tossed into the angry ocean. He made a few more and hopped across to land. The pillars seemed to be sucked away just as soon as he was save on land but the destruction of the waves were completely unrealistic. He came to a halt next to the male who if he wasn't mistaken was using his gifts to push the waves back into the ocean. "Hes calling us! I cant get to him though. Do you hear his screaming?" He yelled over the wind trying to see how he could help and if he was going crazy or not.

And just like that, I knew I was home.

Her breath was caught in her throat, snagged on a thread of her emotions as someone tugged fervently at her heart. Pulling the young wolf along as if she was some puppet dangling from wires - each step of hers calculated by someone else. She had been travelling happily, each new land that she came upon here made her plant a paw upon the ground and whisper this is home, here it is and she would then sit among the nature that brought some new joy to the forefront of her mind. This place was a part of her, each rock, each molecule of air, each sip of water and hum of the insects, she felt as if she truly belonged and it lifted something she did not know she had from off her shoulders.

One step. Silence, peace. Another step. Screams, pain. The wind was a sudden buffer against her every movement, she could barely breath in the air, and her eyes were but mere slits to try and see through the rain and wind. She was atop a large rock like structure, the only reason she was able to see her paws and where she was placing them was because of the light that leaked out from them. Everything else was covered in the haze of constant rain and the roaring of the weather. The screams of something other. Her body was pressed as low as she could go and still be able to move forward, and instinct, and her front paws were hung over the edge of the rock, clinging to its surface to hook her in place. The yearling had no clue where she was, even without the weather misdirecting everything she would know nothing, she cared not for herself at that moment, Rionach - in the most confused haze - could feel something through to her very bones. It didn't matter what it was, she wanted - no, needed - to help.

Her eyes caught movement, dark blots on the ground slightly below and in front of her, all she knew in that moment was that they were something living and she needed to be with them. To do something. Anything. She watched in silent agony from her precarious perch as the waves listened to one of them, beseeching his forgiveness and falling back, as another was thrown over and ice formed so suddenly below him, again and again it aided his discovery back to volatile safety. A cry of her own ripped out of her throat and leaving all her emotions naked in the air, there was no room for words as the bellow of her own helplessness left her bare right through to her soul. Light burst out from the centre of her chest with the cry, right where her heart beat its thunderous drums in its attempt to fall open and give them all help, a line of white light that seemed as if it was a part of her essence dug its claws into her and snaked out to touch every one of the others, curling around one form and moving on to the next until the light-line had encompassed them all, telling them where the others here were so that they may not lose each other no matter what happened. She followed it, barely thinking, with her stomach pressed against the ground to keep her on the surface and not be flown about. Water soaked through every fibre of her fur, nothing was dry nor safe nor warm. But she cared only at getting closer to others, wanting to know what was going on, what she could do"I'm coming, I'm here, I need to help." A mantra she repeated to herself as she clawed her way through the storm, her soft voice swallowed up instantly.

Light: Rionach is attempting to link everyone with a thread of light so that they may see each other better in the storm, not lose one another and help each other out.

Fintan & Orna

What had been normal shifted. What had been a soft breeze of spring grew into a mournful gale. 'Something isn't right,' Orna faltered as he was buffeted by the wailing wind. Fintan ran after his familiar; cursing his bonded for being able to so easily rush ahead without him.

He leapt over trees toppled. Eyes darting from the ground to the sky- back to the ground again. He slid down where mud had careened down slopes. The wolf stopped with a wimper to wipe mud from his eyes. It was splattered across his coat like warpaint. This was a storm that threatened to rip all apart.

The rains lashed out at him. It fell with stinging force. It tried to push him down; to hold him in place. It took his sight.

The wind could not decide which direction it wanted him. It flung him away and pulled him close. It screamed in his ears. It threatened to take the air from his lungs. To add his breath to its cry.

___________________

'It is the god,'
there was awe in Orna's tone, 'It is Altahua.' The crow circled high above those who had gathered already, 'I will show you.' Fintan shut his own eyes and they were opened to Orna's view. He saw the other wolves and their plight against the storm's rage. He felt the god's cries. They rattled his insides and resonated somewhere deep within.

Questions with no answer made him quiver when the weather did not. Where had the gods been? Why did they suddenly return? Why did Altahua return to them in such a state?

His only chance to find anything out was to chase the answers.
To tear them from the storm.

___________________

He reached the wolves as a wave tried to take one of the gathered as its own. 'Help her!' Orna pleaded from afar. A vague figure beaten by the elements.

Fintan called upon his ability, he steeled himself like the rock beneath their feet; the wind could not beat a column of stone into submission. Steady on his own feet he went to her prepared to be a firm shoulder for her to lift herself with.

Some primal part of him could sense what the god wanted. Fintan just was not sure of how to answer its need. The wolf poured his magic out without direction towards any of his own abilities. He sent it from himself and he gave it to the god.

Fintan prayed for the strenth of Brahma.

Table @ Centience

Fintan used his ability 'The Becomer' to steady himself against the weather. He appears the same but is unyielding like stone. Isn't an ability that he can utilize for long.

He isn't sure how to use his abilities to give his magic into the storm so he has opted with just trying to pour his magic on out. Not sure if that is a response that works.

@Rionach for mention.

The storm raged, but for Auron it felt like everything slowed down, her heart raced but even it felt slow in her chest as everything converged in on itself. Others would appear, rushing to the aide of the water god that screamed in what she perceived as agony. What had injured a god? The thought puzzled even her familiar who clung tightly to her. She was startled, however, when she suddenly began to glow, for a moment pink eyes would dart around, but the tendrils of light helped lead her to the wolf that caused it. She knew this wolf, but her name had suddenly slipped her mind. She chalked it up to the adrenaline and panic.

Auron was about to turn away and move closer to the others that had appeared- one appearing from the water itself on pillars of ice. The wind snagged his words, but she caught the part about hearing screams just as the wave came and grasped at her acquaintance,
“No!!!”
The lavender and cream wolf would yell, the energy behind the shout materializing as a sharp spear of air, with the intent of slicing through the wave to give her a fighting chance to escape the current. In the distance she could hear another say something about helping her, but Auron was too focused, all of her focus, all of the energy she could control was being directed either at the God or her friend.

Electricity buzzed in the air, her passive ability absorbing it with ease, Auron both felt tired from the loss of energy she’d fed to the storm and the water god, but energized from the lightening. Auron would grunt, frustrated that she could not release the energy on her own like she wanted. Dangerous as it was, she made her way to the edges of the waves, wings still clamped tight to her sides as she dipped her front paws into the water, hoping the water would help charge and release the built up electricity in her body….may it would take it to the god and help him? Or upset him further…

Auron is using Wind/Air manipulation to try to cut the wave and save @Rionach
Auron is using her passive ability to try to pour more magic into the water/to the god.

NOTE: dont touch Auron or you might get a painful static shock.

Save Atlahua !

HP gained: 40
HP needed: 60
the wolves that did not participate this round are still considered part of the thread, therefore, will still be rolled for potential damage.

Despite their efforts -- and the 10 HP received from both @Fintan and @Auron -- the thrashing of waves and winds only increase. The Gods cry amplifies into a churning current of cyclones, ripping @Merlin and @Rionach from their places upon the land and batting them around as though they were mere specks upon the earth. Rionach seems to have gotten off easy, with the powerful God taking a sliver, only 20 HP, from her. Merlin isn't so lucky. The howling wind flings the male to and fro, sending his body crashing into the depths below, taking 50 HP from the pale-faced brute. @Adaeus, ostensibly, has once again dodged the storms might, taking and giving nothing. Regardless, the hurricane rages on!

Your wolves cannot ignore this and the only way to stop it is by donating together 100hp! Each post your character is actively pouring their magick (using their spells) into the storm is worth +10 toward Atlahua's health pool and -10 from your characters! Each round will consist of HP gained toward Atlahua and potential damage rolls from the storm. Time is not on your side, lingering about will only result in your character taking needless damage.

There's only two more rounds after this! Work together!

Adaeus Malchor

He didnt know what was going on or what to do. He saw a huge wave grow in front of him, one that would swallow him and the person next to him up. A fear began to seep into his soul but something else seeped into him too. A voice, a sad and pained voice echoed in his mind asked for nourishment and healing. A soft but strong feeling of love grew over his icy heart. Melting the outer layer of steel he had encased his emotions and feelings within. His god was calling for aid and he would join in the fray even if he was late. Slowly he swung his tail around. The bladed edge of it barely touching the inside of the wave but as it made contact the wave itself turned into a wall of ice. All around him became this way. The sand below his paws, the water around him and even the droplets in the air turned cold and frozen.

The ice shielded him from the next wave that crashed into it but he wasn't satisfied. Slowly he lifted his wings into the air. This was when he noticed the trail of light and his body began to glow. His eyes followed it to a wolf behind him. It wasn't just him here.. They were all here because of the cries and all wanted to help. A cry of fear caused him to latch one the wolf with the light powers and the one that had been next to him. Slowly he lifted his wings in the air and let the wind pull his form from the ground. His body lifting into the sky but he used as little energy as possible, only trying to control the angle at which he was thrown around.

Once he was above the other he took inventory of them all and wondered what he would do.. He watched as they were all taking their powers and throwing them at the ocean.. With a deep breathe he felt the anger he held deep inside and imagined it as a pool of boiling lava. His eyes closed for a moment and he took a breathe, he imagined his nose barely touching the surface and pulled that energy into an ice strike. When his eyes opened he shot out a line of spiked from just below him and extending a good 10 feet in front of him with multiple shards shooting out of the ocean like a wave of ice. Their tips sharp and standing 6 feet into the air.

*Adaeus is using his passive to freeze the ocean tides coming close to him
*Using his Ice Spike ability to make a wall of ice just inside the water's edge, giving the god his power and hoping to keep the tides at bay.
